Sweeney believes there's a good chance Charter Communications, which serves much of Madison and the surrounding area, will be interested in picking up the Big Ten Channel.

"Our relationship with Charter has been very good," Sweeney said. "They've been a good friend of the Athletic Department for a long time. So, we're anxious to sit down and encourage them to pick it up."
