Cleaning Up Your MP3's

I started getting music onto my computer in the 90's when the tracks were given names like Track3.aiff. And with the music I have collected since then plus some lost iTunes libraries means that my music has metadata that is wildly inconsistent.

I've tried manually fixing it and some apps that claim to help with mixed results.
